Something For Everyone

The village is nestled at the top of the lake with 2 free village beaches and a free boat launch. Off Main Street you can gain access to the Outlet trail. This semi paved old railroad bed runs along the outlet from Keuka to Seneca Lakes. You can hike/bike 5 miles to the other lake or turn around and come back along the way. Beautiful scenery, waterfalls, and solitude abound.

Craft Market

Saturdays May through November are special here in Penn Yan. The Windmill Farm and Craft Market is open with baked goods, quilts, and crafts of every genre. You’ll find Amish, Mennonite and our local craftspeople represented with beautiful items for everyday as well as gifts.

Day Trips - Niagara Falls

For our visitors coming for the first time to the state or area a wide range of day trips is a must. Niagara Falls and the Canadian border is just 2 hours away, The Rochester Museum and Science Center , the Strong Museum of Play, and the George Eastman House are located in Rochester 1.25 hour away.Corning Glass Museum and the Norman Rockwell Museum are 1.25 hour away.

Finger Lakes Western New York

We also have a quiet Lakehouse available right on the shore of the north end of Keuka Lake (the cleanest and highest of the Finger Lakes). Located in the historical district, it is within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, museum, and art consortium. Robertson house is directly on Keuka lake

Glen Curtis Museum of Flight

Just 20 miles away in Hammonsport at the southern end of Keuka Lake is the Glen Curtiss Museum of Flight. Hammonsport was voted one of the country’s Best Small Towns in 2012. Have fun antique hunting in numerous shops orpoke around in quaint shops, then eat in one of the fine restaurants around the town square.
